In partnership with Australia’s South West.
As the wildflower season is flourishing, the Great Southern Treasures Bloom Festival celebrates the renewal of spring throughout the Great Southern Treasures, focusing on the wildflower tapestries and town cultures that make up this amazingly diverse region.
With a whole month of activities spanning across 26 towns, the festival encompasses more than 40 events and displays, making a trip to the Great Southern Treasures well worth it, to enjoy what nature and the region’s passionate communities have to offer!
Events include arts, crafts, displays, exhibitions, fauna and flora-themed activities, food events, guided tours and hikes for those who want more of a challenge, heritage trails, markets, Noongar culture events, open gardens, wine and dine events, and creative workshops.
Plan some time off with your favourite people and take a road trip down south with one of the suggested itineraries, or create your own to explore the entire Great Southern Treasures region. Explore the region – from Kojonup, Woodanilling and Pingrup; down to Bremer Bay on the coast; across to Mount Barker, Porongurup and Frankland River; and taking in major centres, such as Katanning, the Stirling Range National Park and everything in-between.
