Winter has arrived, and with it came Frost and Fire!

That’s right, Frost and Fire returned on Saturday 19 June 2021.

People came to celebrate the winter solstice under starry skies in Forbes, Central New South Wales. Frost and Fire offered all the elements of a country bonfire night, and there was something for everyone.

As temperatures reached frosty lows, attendees warmed up and chilled out lakeside by warming fire buckets, indulged in hearty food and boutique brews, and enjoyed the sounds of Australian renowned musicians and local talent, together with memorable live entertainment and Wiradjuri cultural performances.

Talented local acts included Gracey Jones, who kicked off the night off, and later The Fog Pilots. Action-packed entertainment from Dare Devil Co. included two past contestants of Australia’s Got Talent, fire stunt performer Walter Whip and the Flames, and John Buttigieg, who played two guitars at the same time (and is also a ‘Jon Snow’ lookalike, for all the Game of Thrones fans!).

Guests were entertained by action on the water, plus some roving entertainment throughout the evening, too!

Renowned Australian musician Bob Evans (ARIA-winning alter ego of Jebediah frontman, Kevin Mitchell) took the stage to take us through to the end of the night. And of course, Frost and Fire would not be complete without including some grand fire action!

Frost and Fire returns next year, so keep your eyes peeled for the next event. It is is the perfect evening to unwind for a truly unique experience. Or, why not make a weekend out of it and find yourself in amazing Forbes in winter?
