Sit back and relax at Peaceful Bay

Want to get some peace of mind as you cruise along the coast this summer? Try the Peaceful Bay track along Western Australia’s pristine shores.

Around 450 kilometres south-east of Perth, and tucked among countless national parks and coastal attractions, Peaceful Bay is a great four-wheel driving destination for the whole family.

This secluded section of the coast offers an array of swimming spots, fishing spots and sand dunes for four-wheeling fun.

When you get sick of being in the car, try the treetop walk that takes you right through the heart of the Walpole wilderness. There’s even a dog-friendly caravan park at Peaceful Bay, which makes for a great spot to set up before you explore the surrounding wilderness.

With the vastness of Western Australia’s coastline, you could easily spend the entire summer four-wheel driving in this state alone. Check out Cable Beach (near Broome), Cape Le Grand (near Esperance) or Lancelin (just 90 minutes north of Perth) for some great tracks and stunning scenery.
